British Free Corps insignia, any thoughts?

Hi Gents,

it’s not my usual thing so I was hoping someone can give me an opinion on these 3 patches please.

 

 

They were in this little job lot that was so cheap I can’t imagine the seller thought they were of any age or value.

So I too have no expectations but it’s nice to check.,,

 

A few close ups…

 

This design of English Free Corps insignia I’ve seen noted as ‘issue doubtful’ and also one source describes it as Estonian.

 

 

This one less intact..,

 

 

This last one is from an M43 possibly?

Does the colour indicate a light colour cap maybe Afrika Korps?

 

 

Any thoughts welcome as always Gents.

this might be a little more interesting.

 

By chance, someone gave this to me today, unrelated to the stuff above.

It’s about 4 inches long.

 

 

 

Looks like a Viking image behind.

                                 for me all the insignia are fake 😞 especially the cap insignia, as for the collars very few actually issued (if ever on a large scale ?) 

so sorry to me they are fakes.

& There’s no need to apologise, they didn’t cost anything effectively and I ‘knew’ they would be fake

- I would have been very very surprised to hear otherwise.

 

as always it’s really just to make sure they aren’t somehow interesting.

 

The little pouch I picked up separately, I’m told was issued with/for a badge/award.

Tony... Like you haven't read this before...  (I hate being redundant).

 

The insignia in your first post are all fakes.  However, they're decent fakes.

 

I myself acquired some Estonian Division Waffen-ᛋᛋ collar patches made for re-enactors/film extras by a firm in the U.S.A. no longer in business.  They themselves are sought-after collectors' items, although on the lower end and to a lesser extent.

 

That sack's interesting.  Looks like a swastika superimposed on a bearded, mitred bishop's head.  I don't know what it is, or what it's supposed to be.  It's still cool. I'd hang on to it.
