Bernd_W
Hello Gents, I'm looking for more information on Oberstleutnant Grützner from Deutsch Wette near Neisse. He found the Gruppe Nord of the Selbstschutz Oberschlesien in May 1921. I'm Interested in his WW1, especially the regiment in which he served at the end of the war. I hope to find a pre S.S.O.S. Freikorps that was built up out of this WW1 regiment. Kind regrets and thanks
GreyC
Hi, he seems to have started as a Hauptmann in the Adjutantur of the General- Inspektion des Militär-Verkehrswesens and ended as Oberstleutnant, Armee-Nachrichtenkommandeur 1, according to the Ehrenrangliste. Bernd_W
Many thanks to both of you. The Deutsch Wette near Neisse was mentioned in some text about the S.S.O.S. I guess its the place where he lived when he found the Gruppe Nord of the Selbstschutz Oberschlesien in May 1921. He was also the commander of the Gruppe Nord.
