A tribute to Rick (Research) Lundström, who could read, write and translate these scripts as easily as he could block print in English.

I have included some period examples from around the world-wide-web.

I had some mediocre results when using google Lens. You upload the picture here:

I you combine it with your Brain and charts like this down below and take a little bit of time, you can read a lot of Stuff.

Whats IMO hard, are signatures and some writings where they mixed Sütterlin and Kurrent. IMO mostly written like this by the generation who was <= 30 years at the end of WW1

Thanks for this, I'm in the process of trying to get more familiar with Suetterlin, as I have a small mountain of material in my archives which I can't read right now.

Many years ago, my wife bought me a great little book, "Deutsche Schreibschrift - Lesen und Scheiben lernen" by Harald Süß.  It is still available for only 15 Euros.   see link below.

Süß, Deutsche Schreibschrift (ÜB) - Harald Süß | Droemer Knaur

I credit this for giving me the head start I needed to learn to read a variety of hand writing forms.  I recommend to anyone looking to improve their ability to read pre-1945 documents.
