    Hi,

I need a help for a site or source for identifying the the period of Swedish Order and the models associated .

I had save a good site, however for some reason it is gone from my PC.

I have those two Grand Crosses badges made of Gold, however both are not marked

It look that they are made in the period/s when the hallmarking was optional

I suspect, also that the Officer badge of the Order of the sword is from the same period

    Regards

I am no expert on period of these, but my understanding is that they were returned and re-used. Their crowns look like the most common type, which I think was in use from late 1800-ies until 1975. The re-using makes it difficult to pinpoint exactly when.

Hopefully others know more about this.

    Hi Kwart,

    Thank you for the reply

The Badges i listed , in my opinion are from mid 1800s

I am still looking for this chart that identifies the  Sweden Orders not only by the crown, but also some other features such central medallions and some features of the body of the Orders
