Kriegsmarine Admiral Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Hello, According to his Personalakte, Generalleutnant Paul von Hase was awarded the Commander's Cross 1st Class of the Order of the White Rose of Finland on 08 May 1942. 1) Is the award date (08 May 1942) correct? 2) Was he awarded it "with Swords" or "without Swords"? Thanks
JohanH Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Paul von Hase got the Commander 1st class with swords on March 30th as one of only 26 people to get it with swords. 14 of them was germans and the rest from Finland. 19 people got the 2nd class commander with swords. 15 of them were germans. 2

Thank you Johan! So, Paul von Hase got it on 30 March 1942? The date I mentioned should be the German approval date then. Edited February 10 by Kriegsmarine Admiral 1
