BURGERHAUS Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 [attachmentid=41979][attachmentid=41980]Gents I just wanted to post this little gem. I was taken by the quality of the enamel work and its' color. I have done a quick look thru Husken and can't seem to locate it. If others have an example to show please do. Robert
Scowen Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Now that's a new one one me & very nice looking too. Thanks for showing it Robert.CheersDon
Rosenberg Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Robert, maybe it is not in Huesken for it is a day-badge? The text reads 100 yrs festival,so maybe it is in Tieste (don?t know if thats the correct spelling)
JNoble Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Here is another variation of Robert's badge taken from Tieste's book.
BURGERHAUS Posted June 6, 2006 Author Posted June 6, 2006 This is very interesting indeed. Perhaps there was a tinnie and a badge for this event. My example is very nicely made so I would doubt they were mass produced. james, thanks for that interesting tidbit from Tieste.Mr. rosenberg a very astute observation. Robert
