Daniel Cole
I saw this on another forum and couldn't post pictures. It was a good tread and I thought I'd import the idea here. Hopefully there are some takers. Here's my cousion Private Thomas Croft Neibaur. He is a Medal of Honor recipient from the Great War. His decorations are:USA: MOH, PH, Victory Medal with 5 Clasps, France: Legion of Honor Knight, Croix d'Guerre, Italy: Cross of War,Montenegro: Bravery Medal Edited June 23, 2006 by Daniel Cole
Daniel Cole
His Original Medal in the State Museum. Some have the incorrect ribbon, which I mentioned to the curator. He didn't seem to care. Stereotypical bureucraWhen I take the photo out of the frame the center is missing in the Legion of honor also. Must have popped out back when he received it. Christian L
very nice grouping!!!can you post the story, why he got the MoH?and as a side note - the way you display his medals is candy for the eyes, sadly a museum curator like the one who is working in this museum doesn't have any feeling for medals and only such a person can put them the way he is don't! and the repair on the legion-of-honor-knight wouldn't be a big problem as the seelwax can everytime heated again and the repair is "un-done".christian
