Stogieman
Outstanding Bar Bob! Sax-Weimar pieces from the White Falcon (in any grade) are very hard to find!
Guest Rick Research
What's the complete inscription on the Red Cross medal? That is yet another of the seemingly endless UNCATALOGED semi-official awards allowed for wear... but not in any of the Official Awards reference books!!!! Bob Hunter
Gothic is tough enough in print but when it is part of a die some letters can be impossible. At least I find it so. Well beyound my humble trifocals! I can't guess at a several letters so I will just post three different closeups for your perusal. The award was described to me as a Merit Decoration of the Thuringian State Association of the Red Cross 1st Level. It is maker marked on the reverse with the name R. Conrad, Weimar.

landsknechte
I found this website quite by accident some time ago, and is the best resource that I've been able to find online that deals with German Red Cross decorations:http://www.richardajordan.com/Red_Cross/GermanStatesRK.html--Chris
