Bob Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 A collecting friend not active on this forum forwarded me this. I don't think we've seen this yet? Or perhaps for awards to Russians? In any case, a very common Mongolian medal with document... interesting for having been awarded to a Hungarian (probably in military?). To fit the award in his other medals in terms of "look" he changed the suspension for a red triangular one with specially added blue stripes. Added is also a Hungarian "permission" document: "The Presidential Council of the Hungarian Peoples Republic grants permission no. I-25/4/71 to Lajos (pronounce as "Lajosh") Durko to wear the Commemorative Medal "50th Anniversary of the Mongolian Peoples Army" which was instituted by the Great Peoples Hural of the Mongolian Peoples Republic".
Tsend Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Pic 2 Very interesting. Especially the Bulgarian permission document.
