Another Russian medal to Belgians - Tolstoi medaille

Nice medal with suspension. Below 2 examples of my collection. The big one is a silver medal without suspension, bilingual (French-Russian), and the small one is with suspension and only in Russian.

Comments are more than welcome.

Regards,

GM1

I've also a little group. I think that two groups where merged in the last 90 years, but it's a nice one.

What kind of medal is the guilded one below the YSER-medal, on the right of the Volunteersmedal?

Best regards,

GM1

Absolutely SUPERB sets! I am drooling all over my keyboard!

I had never seen or even heard of the "Tolstoi medaille" before... Simply marvelous!!! And with the Crosses of St George, incredible! Any further info as to where these would<ve been earned? On which front? In what campaign/battle?
