      Hi Darrell, The backdrop is a piece of black velvet and the lighting source is a window in my bedroom with a typical dull British day outside,no flash is used.The camera has been set to concentrate on the object and to basically ignore the background. Dave

      Thanks Joe!....It is still definitely experimental though,it seems to be quite a hit and miss affair...some photos are great yet others are absolutely awful even though no settings have been changed. I'm using a Fuji FinePix S 5600 5.1 mega pixels Dave

      I received my new camera a couple of days ago and I've been having a little play,of course being a bloke I haven't read the instructions at all so I'm not exactly sure if I'm doing it right This camera has a shed load of buttons etc and I haven't a clue what any do but once I get my missus to read the booklet she can then tell me what's what Here are a few experimental pics..
