    1. And here a few more things: The two campaign crosses I like especially, they are not so common, they have another form than the ones you see more often. On the little miniaturechain, you can see them as well, in the same form. They come from the same grouping. unfortunately I didn't got the White Falcon. Maybe I will find one somewhere else in 2011. If someone wants to sell his, please let me know!!! The two crosses were Spangenstücke. The fool who has cut this Spange into pieces should be courtmartialed and shot instantly!! The big spange misses two medals, can someone help me by telling what the missing medals probably would be? Poulton
    2. Hello Claudio, nice bar!!! What medal is the right one (cross with swords)?? Gamble: Finnish? Greetings from Bruges, Poulton Palmer
    3. Hello Ibrahim, I saw your request. I happen to have quite a lot divisional and regimental histories in my posession (German WWI and WWII). Also the 79.ID. I believe it has been mentioned in the post before.
    4. I am very sorry but I have put this in the wrong section, can you please transfer this to the right section? excuse me for the trouble. Poulton
    5. Here are 2 pictures of my medals. (I am not so very good in posting pictures yet), but I hope you can see some differences. Grz Poulton
    6. Good day gentlemen. I am interested in German pre-WWI, WWI, post WWI and WWII spanges and medals. One of my favorit post-WWI medals are the so-called Campaign crosses: Verdun, Champagne, Somme and Argonnen. Some fellow collectors find these not so interesting while they are unifficial medals that could be bought and were not "earned" on the battlefield, etcetera. But I just like the design, very much in the Jugendstil, very attractive according to me. I have a few crosses of each in my collection, also in in two different designs. The last few weeks I have seen on Ebay Germany a few of these medals being offered. (today 3 of these are offered). Normally I would place bids on these, but the medals in question don't look allright to me. The lettertype is not so fine, rather thick, the behind of the medals look smooth, the lining of the medals isn't so fine and a few other things. Maybe they are ok, I am not an expert, that is why I ask your opinion here and maybe warn someone. The price of these medals have evolved into a range of 150 euro - 225 euro each, so maybe it is worth copying these. I don't know. Here are the pictures of the three crosses currently offered on ebay de. I quickly made a picture of 4 examples from y own collection which are undoubtedly originals by the way. These you can see in the following post. Greetings from Bruges, Flanders, Poulton Palmer p.s. Poulton is visiting Hill 60, Hill 62 and the Bluff this thursday and is intending to find something (metaldetecting perhaps, don't know yet). It is a pity that I dont't have a GMIC friend who can join me!!! 210283:4.jpg]
    7. Hello Christophe, Good idea for a topic. I shall post my new 2010 stuff also in a few days. Nice collection of boxes, but for me the medal bar is the most interesting, very nice!!! I hope you will find the missing Reuß medal soon. Greetings from Flanders, Stephan

    9. I am new to this forum and I am happy to say that I am amazed at the collection some members have and also I am very impressed by the knowledge of some of you!!! I am eager to learn!! The focus in my collection lies in German WWI spanges and medals but also Regimentsgeschichtes. Also I have some german WWII medals and also lots of divisionsgeschichtes and so on. In the two pictures below you see a part of my collection. These are pictures from a few months ago. I will place an update shortly. Glad to see there are other spange-fanatics!!!!! Poulton Palmer
