What Belgian decorations belong, the dutch speaking part of Belgium has the same problem, most of the information about Belgian OMD is in French. so if we want to know the information whe have to learn French And information abouth the french OMD they are in French, it is the same for the English OMD, they are in English. Som soldiers who are doing a lot of missions of peace keeping have some time more decorations than the generals. BTW, Erik do we see you end of the month in Brussels ?

    8. Commanders Cross Ordre National du M?rite (France), and he is olso wearing still his officers cross in the same order normaly you only whear the highst rank of the order.

That is correct the ? of the grandsash of the order of leopold = normaly 70 mm the one of the commanderscross = normaly 60 mm but at this moment the manufactures put commandercrosses on the grandsash, the crosses of 60 mm in stad of those of 70 mm the grandcrosses ont he order of the african Star, Royal order of the Lion, Crownorder and Order of Leopold II has the same juwel as the commanderscross on the sash, and this is correct

G. Aucoc was actif between the 21 of june 1907 until 20 january 1921 you can find a lot of marks of manufactures on R?pertoire des auteurs
