    1. Possibly.......
    2. A wonderful thing GMIC, following seeing my post here I was contacted by a member & offered a mint cased one! Having waited a number of years just to find one of these rare beasts I now have two!! Just like the proverbial number 8 bus, you wait for ages for one, then two turn up..... Enjoy...... I did! Cheers Don
    3. Alexey, can you tell us who the maker is on the bottom of the painted/lacquered badge above? Cheers Don
    4. A couple of nice badges there Alexey. Do you have a camera? Is it posible to get a shot from an angle (similar to the ones I've shown above) of the maker marks on the badge in post #19? Cheers Don
    5. Yet more nice badges Alexey As before there are one or two that look a little odd to me, the HJ in post 60 & the Dank in post 64 for example, but on the whole very nice. I especially like the two NSFK's on page 1, the details on Icarus' face is very nice. I've moved a couple of posts to their dedicated threads as you asked. If you can give us seperate images of the badges in post 9 I'll put those in the threads as well (or you could post them directly there). Cheers Don
    6. Hi Alexey, I can't really comment on the 1938 RPT apart from to say it looks very nice. I'm not a tinnie guy so can't really say more. As to the Tirol badge. Pins & badges similar to theis can still be bought today in that area of Austria, the symbol is still used. So it's difficult to say for sure without holding it to say from what period it is from, sorry. Cheers Don
    7. As Pat (Avitas) is having trouble posting images since the forum software upgrade, I'm putting up these images on his behalf. Marked A.TH. Cheers Don
    8. Indeed it is, I stand corrected . Cheers Don
    9. Some very nice badges & pins you have Alexey, thank you for posting them. There are one or two that would worry me, the Frauenschaft in post # 22 for instance, the outside circle of the RZM should be closed. And the Party badge in post 28, I'm never happy with just an RZM mark & Ges.Gesch, however, that is just my opinion. On the whole some lovely pieces. You could post some of these in the threads that have already been started if you wish. The RLB in post #27 has a dedicated thread as do the RAD in post #24 & RDK in post #6. If you wish I can transfer them out of this thread or you can post them again there yourself. Cheers Don
    10. I've checked through my reference books & can't find anything matching the last two pins made before 1945 . Cheers Don
    11. Another nice pin. I wonder whether these fell outside of the RAD license &/or organisation, as I do not recall ever seeing one with the triangle... Cheers Don
    12. Very nice Robert. I've been considering expanding into cap badges lately, been trying to resist it but I may have to give in Thanks for showing it, I see that this is double marked with the A&S as well as the little Assmann man. Cheers Don
    13. Reverse is also marked for Wurster. Cheers Don
    14. Here's the small version of the Type III DLV pin, similar to the one shown above by Scott. Cheers Don
    15. Here's another that recently passed through my hands, also marked 5. Although there are small differences on the base section, has anyone noticed that the pattern in the enamel on all these shown is identical? Cheers Don
    16. Welcome to the forum Bernie. Sorry for my late reply, I haven't been up here to the SS area for a while . Lovely piece, I never tire of seeing these. Thanks for showing it. Cheers Don
    17. Indeed, very nice Erich, congratulations. I recently saw one of these in Munich but I didn't have the cash on me at the time....... Cheers Don
    18. Very nice John. Here's what she who must be obeyed found waiting for her under the tree last week. Rehbock No 14 Cheers Don
    19. This recently came in with that large grouping of badges. It's my first buttonhole & it's tiny, only 15mm & weighs a mere 1.5g. Cheers Don
    20. Nice example Joe, I've yet to pick up the aluminium version. Thanks for showing it. Cheers Don
    21. Joe, Thanks for the offer, however I think it will be useful to leave it, unless you wish it removed. The proceeding posts explain that there could be questions raised with it, but until we know more I think it should remain as an example to be researched. I think the same goes with the Type II I showed, if as it seems they also should have the RADJ mark then these too are questionable. This two pins clearly show more research is needed....... Cheers Don
