    1. The infantry would not let old squinty near a gunsight... this is worrying.... hope he uses the left eye...
    2. It is indeed a cast one, terrible details, and a frame so thin you can cut yourself on it. The frame stamping is pretty terrible as well. No stamp on the ring... I would be curious if anyone has a terrible one WITH a stamped ring?
    3. I think they still make these by the boatload in india, a friend bought a riding crop at a souvenir shop there a couple of years ago, took it to germany, through customs... And only at home realised it was with a sword blade. Apparently the whole shop was specialised in what he realised in retrospect were such or similar weapons. Depending where you live, these can cause you mucho problemo
    4. Has anyone seen one to beat this ? core is 2 thin metal staped sheets... when you tap if with a fingernail its sounds like you are banging empty tin cans together... this has to be the ugliest out there.... I dont mean a once nice cross in bad condition... this was ugly the day it was produced....
    5. These are actually pretty comman, i dont know how the tradition started, but this is the 4th one i have had. This one came with a group... basicall on the bottom of the glass is a newspaper clipping announcing his award, an EK decoration, and a backing paper....
    6. Would I be correct in assuming a Nachrichten Offizier der O.H.L beim A.O.K. 18 would be from the O.H.L attached to assure Communications from the A.O.K to the O.H.L ? Best Chris
