And more.... its being sold by a seller called supercowboy-carphunter on a one day auction... he sold the exact same thing with exact same photo to zweidollen on the 17th of Feb 2011... zweidollen confirms recieving the wonderful piece... so I suppose it is fraud..

I dont agree with everything they say, and the footage is not all Verdun... but a really good series (in 4 parts of 10 minutes) Best Chris

There is a very active Franz Albrecht Medicus that comes up in google... but he was born in 1890... I dont think it can be "our" Franz... I think Glenn nailed it though.

Dang.... you are right... I overlooked that. I was thinking/Hoping September 1914... well, I guess that blows the piece I was going to add to the site out of the water... :-(

Unfortunately no date... but these two men were in cape town at the same time on 2 occasions... I am not sure if this was from the 1st or 2nd time. If it was the 2nd time... does anyone know what the huge significance was...?

The Special Ops command one is really cool, like a watch fob!

that is a really strange looking thing.... the sheath looks like a shortened German WW1 or WW2 one. the back of the handle looks to be adapted from A German bayonet and the blade looks like the US bayonets.... Did the Israelis make them from parts?
