    1. There’s four Cuban medals on eBay Germany right now, two have documents. One document is complete, the other is blank. Reasonable asking prices. Doesn’t ship to the US so you’ll need help from a friend overseas
    2. Good Morning!! I’ve seen a number of these different crosses over the years. I think they’re interesting but have never explored them as a potential addition to my collection. Thanks for sharing!
    3. An obscure area of Imperial Germany to me, don’t know what interest there might be but if this is legitimate, it might be a bargain! On US eBay now, asking $399.
    4. @Marcel B., Good Morning! I understand completely. Not my images, culled out of the listing on eBay. For some reason when I search for my interests (Saxon Order of St. Henry) Soviet items appear. Years ago Rick Research tried to push me into Soviet ODM, I dabbled a little but never really caught the bug for it. There’s certainly some beautifully done Soviet pieces as well as the Soviet made Mongolian awards but very early on they started making copies. Thanks for the advice and help, was really just curious.
    5. For the members: The purpose of this thread is to keep everyone advised and informed of the plethora of copies flooding eBay on both sides of the pond. Please take note of the images and sellers. Unfortunately, it’s inevitable that you might get burned, it happens to all of us and we have to live and learn. But keeping an eye on these items may help prevent that from happening. Happy Collecting and enjoy the hunt!!
    6. I can’t imagine what would cause that damage to appear like that. Any chance of getting a full, big picture of the front and back of that cross?
    7. Wow! @Deruelle, thank you! @Nicolas7507, thank you! And yes, I agree, looks like the same guy! I wonder where the documents ended up!
    8. This little group was offered to me by the seller for $395, I passed, but someone else didn’t. Relatively scarce award and nice with the two styles of ribbon bar!
    9. While we’re on this subject, here’s another oddball. St. Henry Ribbon with swords attached. This one has languished on eBay.de for months at 135-Euro.
    10. This was actually listed as a copy, blue enamel is very wrong imo, brought $43
    11. Hi Vince, agree on the condition of the suspension but the cross was beautiful. If I was an Anhalt or Napoleonic War collector I would have been on this like white on rice!! I’ve had a number of Prussian Napoleonic era medals in the past, both combatant and non-combatant over the years (including a very nice cased set and a documented 1813 EK2), but I’ve never seen the Anhalt Cross before this one!!
    12. Helmut Weitze posted this interesting group on his website today. I’ve been chasing St. Henry for a very long time and I’ve never seen this crown device on a St. Henry ribbon before? I’m curious if anyone else has seen this anomaly?? In studying the images (courtesy of Weitze.net) I believe the bar to be original.
    13. Bummer, if we had Rick, we might know! Have you reached out to Daniel?? He might be able to help you.
    14. Good Morning! I think you have a faded Crown Order and Long Service Cross. Did your research show those?
    15. I will say I didn’t like this piece, I think it’s a reproduction. Am I wrong? If so, what am I missing? Thanks
    16. Putting this one in this thread. I think the individual pieces are real, but the mounting is a monstrosity. Wrong precedence, style and what looks like a hand-snipped catch for the pin. Final bid was $385
    17. @Solomon Nice! Especially cased! Thanks for sharing!
    18. Found the cased mini Carola Medal, final bid was $135
    19. Same Seller, 3 separate lots. A very reasonable $380 total. Each one with different years! Also had a Carola Medal and mini boxed but forgot to keep track of them. Probably one recipient for all but no documents so no way to know for sure.
