That first medal is indeed a FAM. During the war, most Saxons wore their Saxon awards before anything else, similar to the Bavarian troops!

And another one I am unsure of, and even if legit, I don’t understand the frenzy. 494-Euro!

I’m not positive about this one. The individual pieces look good to me and the overall age looks appropriate. My concern is with the maker’s tag for Scharffenburg. How is it that someone with the two rather significant Prussian awards has nothing from Saxony? Is that even realistic? Your comments and thoughts are appreciated. The bar sold for 600-Euro

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen! I am unsure of this set, so placing it here and I welcome your feedback. I believe the EK is real, despite the fuzzy pictures. The Sub Badge, I just don’t know. I’ve only owned one in the past. The pin assembly is unlike any I’ve seen before. The little engraved tag is interesting, as is the case. It brought 1010-Euro. What do you think?

Good Morning All! It’s nice to see this thread bumped up! JOCI, I’m pretty certain that a very long time ago I owned the exact BZL2mX and packet that you have shown here! Congratulations, as it’s a very special piece. Very hard to find with the packet. Makes one wonder about the war economy in Germany at the time that such a prestigious award was given out in a paper packet! Unfortunately, I’ve lost all my archives so I can’t confirm this thought, but the inscription is ringing a very loud bell in my head!

Starting to see a number of bad, yet rather nice looking, medal bars in Germany. Pretty sure these are both bogus. It makes me sad. Different sellers, not the usual suspects. That St. Henry Medal is simply awful looking
