    2. The back with FO maker mark, Pat
    3. Here are bigger pics, hope it helps in viewing. Thanks, Pat
    4. The hinge has a replacement little piece of metal holding the pin on, an obvious repair job, but original hinge seems intact. Pat
    5. the back, with Juncker mark.
    6. The new and improved badge pics! It has great detail in the gun and the correct makers mark, imho. Any responses on the new pics? Any and all info is very helpful to beginners like me. Thanks, Pat
    7. Here is a side view, I hope it is ok, Thanks, Pat
    8. And the back.. Thanks for any opinions, Pat
    9. As promised, bigger pictures. It appears I can upload 100K now which makes it a lot easier. Thanks, Pat
    10. Here is the back with a huge piece missing where the "Reif" should be. I always had my doubts on this one. Only paid $45 Canadian for it though. Thanks, Pat
    11. Hi there, Here is my newly posted Fake Frank & Reif PAB. It has casting lines around the outside and is bent severely. Very beat up.
    12. I will put bigger pics up for this soon, unless anybody has any opinions. Thanks Pat
    13. Oh well, good thing I didn't pay much for these badges or I would be really angry, but I paid enough! Anyways, I'm sure the rest of my collection (barring the Third Reich badges) will do better. Look for my tinnies and political/civil medals in the coming days and weeks. I also have many British Empire medals and Canadian cap badges. Thanks for the responses on this RS copy! ANy body have any hints on how to distinguish between period die-casts and hand-casts of originals? THanks, Pat
    14. This badge is almost identical to my vaulted CA I have posted, any opinions on the other one? I will put bigger pics of it soon, the current photos don't do the details justice. In person it is very sharp. Plus, I have seen identical vaulted Coastal Artilleries on other sites as originals, so any opinion would be great. Thanks, Pat
    15. Hi, I really think this one is good, these pics don't do it justice. This is one I will be posting new pics of soon because it has identical details up close as my other Juncker CA badge. Any opinions? THanks, Pat
    16. ANy possibility of it being a late war die-casting? Again, are there noticeable differences between period die-castings and fake hand-castings? This would help me out a lot. Also, I will get bigger pics to show more detail soon. Thanks, Pat
    17. I bought all except the coastal artillies from one old German man named Gunther here in Kelowna, BC. He swears they are late war die-castings, but I had my doubts after a while. Unfortunately, he will not refund my money so that is no good. Please check out my posts when I put the new pics for the Blockade, Coastal Art and CCC's. Thanks, Pat
    18. Hi there, my pics are not the highest resolution (again, any tips on size) so that may account for some lack of detail, because in person it is sharper. I will work on better pics for all. I read on another forum that noone has ever come across a fake scooped back Blockade Breaker. Just a thought, also as I mentioned earlier in the post, the original pin is broken off and part of the original pin is in the hinge if you look close. Again, I will get better pics up. Anybody know how to distinguish a hand-casting from a period die-cast? Are there casting lines on period Die-cast badges? Thanks again, Pat
    19. Thanks for your responses, John. I will put bigger pics up soon. I have seen other originals on other forums with the L/18 on the back of the badge, so I don't think that is a problem. Also a question, how can you tell the difference between a hand casting and a period die-casting? If anybpdy has answers, I'm all ears! Thanks again, Pat
    20. The hinge looks the same, but the mark is really bad on mine. The pin has been replaced, as well. No chance it could be a late issue? Pat
    21. Here is a big pic of the front, hope it helps, THanks, Pat
    22. Thanks Darrell, I have already put some bigger pics of the CCC's on the topics, and when I get som more time I can put bigger ones on the Kriegsmarine badges I have posted. I will update them all with bigger pics over the next few days so keep an eye out for updates, Later, Pat
    23. Hmm, I thought the detail of the gun and its gears were good, and the material seems to be nickel-silver, but I am no expert, unlike Flak88. The badge was damaged for sure and I'm wondering if that could be a reason for the wrong back. These badges seem to be trouble, but all of the rest of my collection I have better feelings about as I bought them from various reputable sources (emedals.ca etc). Over the next couple weeks I will be posting my Iron Crosses and other medals and lots of tinnies. Hopefully they will fare better. Thanks, Pat
    24. Yes, i bought them all in one big lot from the same guy. He is an older German fellow here in kelowna and he swears up and down they are authentic. I have no reason to believe he would intentionally sell me fakes, he either doesn't know (he says they're all late war pieces out of Kriegsmetall). Is there no chance this could be OK? Thanks, Pat
    25. This pic is slightly bigger, I will probably have to scan it again, Pat
