    1. Another beauty for a guy whose career spanned two world wars.
    2. It should look something like this:
    3. I've seen one AS triangle marked Hindy two-three years ago and am currently searching for the pic.
    4. reverse. Note the mix of round and flat pins. My other one has all round pins.
    5. Recieved anothe Falkenburg & Richter today. Note the same sloppy trimming around the inside of the ammo belt. Whoever was assigned that task did a horrible job.
    6. Anyone have a picture of one marked with AS in a Triangle, JFS, MuK, or an L/ from any Gablonz maker?
    7. Very nice Ferg. I'm sure the next one appearing on ebay will set a new price record for these.
    8. It means for wear with civilian clothes. But then the FA medals would be out of order...... Ok, somebody please explain to me how the saxon's did their ribbons because I am getting confused.
    9. I understand that but then why des the lowest/foreign award get to display tyhe most ribbon?
    10. Given that the EK2 ribbon is on top and in full array doesn't that make this a frack bar?
    11. I am looking for Hindy Crosses bearing the maker marks of Gablonz area makers. I have looked through the old threads and have found nothing. I looked on Bayoswede's site and found none. Please look at yours as time allows and if you find one please post the mark here. Thanks
    12. Thanks Rick and Scott. Rick, the last medal on the elder bar is a Barfuss medal. All the medals on this bar are of superior quality and the construction is nice and tight. The Saxon Honor Cross is a nice, fire gilt over bronze I believe. Scott, Dion turns up some good stuff. He has opened an Imperial section on his site now.
    13. The second bar is a Saxon bar and is a little more problematic. Yet, this is how it was found.
    14. I received these in the mail today from Dion (munster). First up, a nice bar with 1866 and 1870-71 campaign awards.
    15. Chris, I know you are selling those docs so you can acquire this one: http://www.derrittmeister.com/productpages/3172.htm
    16. or are we looking at potential tales of woh? Brand new ebayer with a ton of stuff. http://search.ebay.de/_W0QQsassZ123.anlo2
    17. Thanks Rick and everyone else. It is as I thought. Just trying to save some poor smoe from dropping 15k on a worthless grouping.
    18. Mike, those were my thoughts also. At the least he should have the repitition clasp for the EK2. (assuming he left the service right after the 1870-71 war and then rejoined in 1914. Anyone have his service record? Google turns up squat. Rick, please summon the demon to tell us what we need to know. The seller isn't too pleased to have it being discussed imo, but for 15k oh well.
    19. All those battles and all he got was that one medal. Times have certainly changed.
