    1. All by Fr. Zimmermann. Odd that many variants. But not unheard of. Nice set Don. --dj--Joe
    2. I appreciated seeing them. They both look to be in good condition. Regards, --dj--Joe
    3. I can echo that they are all period pieces. The first round one is a Veteran meet event badge. The 2nd I can not make out. The Reichsparty day badge is in good condition for a zinc alloy piece. The youth related tinnie is probably going to be your most sought after of the four. Prices, I am sorry to be of no assistance. --dj--Joe
    4. You picked up a nice example. I recall one of mine is also a Fritz Zimmermann M1/72. --dj--Joe
    5. Thanks for your research Pete. Interesting indeed. Eight variants out there somewhere. Gives me a collecting goal. I'd best get started. I wonder why the KdF emblem is not displayed on them? Rothenburg is the only German city I got to wander around in for pleasure. Regards, --dj--Joe
    6. Thanks Pete, I was interested in ( and performed a search for) Rothenburg tinnies. I see you have two very nice examples. I have seen two others and note none of the four incorporate a hakenkreuz in the representations. I wonder if the city was exempt from having to use it, had an aversion to it, or convieniently forgot to include one. --dj--Joe
    7. Missed seeing this Don. You find some very nice photos. Thank you for showing it. --dj--Joe
    8. Found it. Here is the link. http://www.huesken.com/shop/de/organisationsabzeichen-urkunden-1870-1945-elf/deutscher-doggen-club-44169.html --dj--Joe
    9. I picked the pin up at a militaria show a few years back. The organization is still going strong. http://www.ddc1888.de/ Somewhere online I have seen another pin for sale. Slightly different wording. If I run across it I will let you know. --dj--Joe
    10. Why do I imagine him guarding the back door to the butcher shop? Nice photo, thank you for sharing. Do you feel the depiction on this pin is the same ? --dj--Joe
    11. Pete, have you ever grouped any of your event badges by location? By city for example. --dj--Joe
    12. Greetings, I can share a few WWII dog related items but they would fit best here. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/forum/207-germany-third-reich-organisational-membership-badges-%26-tinnies/ --dj--Joe
    13. That is quite nice to have both items together. Thank you for sharing them I enjoyed the opportunity to see the brochure. I wonder how many paper items covering the events survived? --dj--Joe
    14. They had Präsidialkanzlei # 11 - Grossmann & Co. Wien. Belt buckles M4/84 - Grossmann & Co. Wien. M1/130 - Grossmann & Co., Inh. Lorenz Hoffstätter & L. Siefener, Wien. (Not sure of the history behind this address). --dj--Joe
    15. Robert, interesting piece. I have no clue on age or who would wear it. --dj--Joe
    16. :Cat-Scratch: Has anyone seen or better yet have a Womens RAD Honor pin (was the honor pin considered an honorable service membership pin)? If in stickpin form there is your answer. I have a ghost of a thought that far back I saw an example but do not recall the pin set up. --dj--Joe
    17. :anmatcat: Hmmmm? I can't think of a badge the women wore that was not available in pinback and stickpin form. Thought of the NSV, NS-Volkswohlfahrt but I have seen a pinback version of the membership badge. Plus they had the brooches. Scour the in wear images. --dj--Joe
    18. Robert, I thought the same. Mine measures. 16 and 1/2mm. wide X 18mm. high, or 17 32nds. wide X 22 32nds. high. Barely big enough for me to see. --dj--Joe
    19. Don, I know you are busy. Should you get the chance back on post #22 the group shot. Can you make out the pole toppers? They look like a spear point with a large round base. I have read of such a design but do not recall having seen one before. --dj--Joe
    20. After looking through this thread for the 5th or 6th time I was inspired to add my example. Note they cut off 1/2 of the C and H. in GESCH. --dj--Joe
