That is a good looking pin. Does Hüsken suggest a time period of use?
I wonder what the algiz (life) rune is meant to represent. Protection/defence, health, birth or Z?
Thanks for showing it Peter.
Nice looking piece. IMO that's not a three dollar knock off. Not one I've seen before but can imagine a couple of different methods of suspension.

Very nice miniatures. Thank you for sharing. If I may please I will share my only example.
Order of the Cross of Liberty, 2nd class w. swds. (I believe).

I do remember. The wooden tinnies are a favorite collecting theme of mine. More of a hands on cottage assembled type item. The imagination can just see someone assembling and painting them.
Thanks so much for sharing, --dj--Joe
I wish I could contribute to this topic but my collection is lacking in KdF items.
I just did a run through of all 12 pages quite an array. So many different mediums used in the manufacture of these badges.
Forscherin, did you note ID 49 back on page #2 ?

A pin I have not shelled out the dollars for. Interesting looking. Had no knowledge of there being a 1st or 2nd type.
It would be good to see other examples.

Hope some of you good folks are finding new and needed items for you collections. I have not managed to turn up any items to add to mine. Miss the thrill of the hunt.
