Is there any place or site where I can obtain any information about John Samuel Merrett. ? Who was he? Awarded for empire services where? What services? Any help would be apreciated... Regards P.

VASCONCELOS Fernando Eduardo Pinto de Ornelas e (fólio 91); († 01/05/1994); but there is a snag...he died in 1994 and they only grant acess to his file passing 50 years after is death!!!!!! https://arquivohistorico.marinha.pt/details?id=2371
