My scanner was acting up,....working again.. Just used a Flak badge for the try-out, so why not posting it instead of deleting..? A Juncky.. Jos.

I've this small photo,in reality even smaller,it's a very young guy and I think he's FLAK related. Earned a Ostfront medal ! Only the face and ribbon are in color. If you're interested I can make a large scan.. For the rest I only have one portrait pic of a Luftwaffehelferin with Einheitsmutze. Jos.

Happy New Year...! I've paid 120 Euro for the can,don't know the price for such items,just wanted to have one,but I think it's a fair price. The booklet is too small to fit in the holder,besides that,I've a seatchute which has a special small pocket for the booklet,underneath the pillow where it is more safe. Think all other types will have a similar pocket somewhere. Booklet is pulled out a bit for the pic. Jos.

I think and have been told that these containers aren't only for Para's, but also for pilot chutes,like seatchutes etc.. It's for storage and to keep the chute dry. Lid says "Personenfallschirm" which is quite general. Lid shows some rust spots,but the complete container is in rather nice condition. Maker is ebr (19)44. Here's the writing on the lid,Kevin .. There's a card/label holder on the side of the container,what exactly was in and on it ? Jos.

Well,Stijn,I hardly visit Belgium,but thanks for your offer .. There is only 1 producer from these badges, that is certain... Back to the badge,...if there's only one maker,did you compare your badge with other badges ? I say this because your wreath is rather different than the ones I've on file and with only one maker I guess it should look the same,no ? Jos.

Hello Stijn, I just watched your badge and there's something I don't get,but maybe because the pic is small etc.. I've noticed that the leafs on the wreath look very pronounced,I would expect the opposite with a worn badge...,just a thought I've because some other large eagle badges I've seen all had leafs where the nerves were less pronounced or even hardly seen at some places. Was there only one maker ? Jos.

Thanks Paul, That's why I wanted the stuff,many of these jackets are damaged,repaired and with frayed sleeves etc.. A few weeks ago I followed a mint jacket on Ebay,didn't last long,sold behind the screen the other day.. With a bit of luck decent electrical trousers can be found,but they go for big money nowadays.. The last few years fakers are focussing on flightstuff,first the smaller stuff like rubber goggles,but now we can find jackets and flightpants;Summer and Winter pattern,the super rare white jacket,flare straps,leather jackets,electrical gloves,Nietsche & Guenther goggles etc.. This means good stuff is getting rare and more expensive. A shot of the soles of the boots....,like new.. Jos.

Jackets and pants are a matching couple,but if you watch carefully you'll notice that the connections on the trousers are blue leather and on the jacket they're grey/brown... This isn't a problem and I've seen it several times... Watch the pic to see what I mean.., Focke-Wulf pilots in the snow with similar outfit. Jos.

Someone I know suddenly started selling about 90% of his collection about 2 months ago. One of his mannequins always had my extra attention and I hated to see that one go..., bad moment though,nothing was planned from my side,but I had to decide quick... Ok,I managed to move some stuff and here's what I got . A swimmingvest,only some damage on the label.. A blue electrical jacket and pants insuper condition. Pants have the lanyards and their original suspenders,suspenders are rare and very hard to find. Mint electrical boots,they once belonged to me and now I've them back. Very nice electrical gloves. So,a very complete electrical outfit and I'm happy with it. Jos.

Maybe the shield is a field construction without the usual detail...? Jos.

Maybe his flightsuit/jacket rubbed the shield clean.....,but that's probably too simple,....when saying shiny I think of a mirror, maybe he used it as a signal mirror,something I would do to survive ... Jos.
