    1. Hi friends, now I believe, I found out the name of my little africa medalbar. Dr. med. Werner Alborus von Raven, Regierungsarzt in Togo. Griffin Order Knight cross with the crown 31.01.1909 Africa medal Adolf Friedrich Duce to Mecklenburg 1908 Expedition ??.12.1909 last order: no information Can somebody confirm my suspicion?
    2. Yes, this is correct. I have both. But sometimes it's very difficult to find out a name. I'm an expert more for Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Saxony is not my area... Best regards Seeheld
    3. Both ribons are for long service crosses. This is not according the rules, but it's sometimes happens. One possibility is also long service cross and Landwehr service medal. I think, at the moment we have no chance to find out a name. I will see and try my best. Some Soldiers from the Gro?herzoglich Mecklenburgischen Grenadier-Regiment No.89 are awarded with medals from Denmark... see picture...
    4. Wow, very fast. This KRUSE was also one of my favorites. But I got no more informations. I have to say THANK YOU! But if you have a medalbar with Orders and Medals from Mecklenburg-Schwerin, I can help for identification. Now I have almost all award rolls on my computer...
    5. Hello Guys, the biggest part to bring all awardrolls in my laptop is already done. I wrote together with my wife a form with all decorations from Mecklenburg-Schwerin inside. Now I can check out very easy for identification, then you have a medalbar with minimum 2, better 3 or more decorations from Mecklenburg-Schwerin. This is the reason why I find out a name for some medalbars in my own collection and for some friends in germany.
    6. Today I will show you an interesting medalbar from Mecklenburg-Schwerin. 1. Griffin Order with the crown, Mecklenburg-Schwerin 2. Africa medal Adolf Friedrich Duce to Mecklenburg 1908 Expedition, Mecklenburg-Schwerin 3. Order of the Crown, Belgium The Africa medal is one of the rarest medal from the grandduchy Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Interesting is also the ribbon style. It's looks a little bit russian.
    7. Hello guys, now I found out the name of the owner. Dr. med. Oldenburg, Sanit?tsrat zu Schwerin in Mecklenburg! He was a doctor in the capital from Mecklenburg and later he became a doctor in the army. His father was also a doctor in Schwerin and high awarded.
    8. Here is my best old style ribbon bar. Ernst von Eschwege. Very interesting is the Griffin Order and the Order of the Wendish Crown. Both from Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
    9. Hi Wild Card, the last ribbon is the Order of the Iron Crown 3rd class from Austria. Best regards Seeheld
    10. You can compare only the frontside from the Kriegervereinsmedaille with the Milit?rverdienstmedaille 1813 Here I have 2 different golden medals.
