Last year I had the opportunity to obtain a single British War Medal http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?/forums/topic/63733-belgian-agent-bwm-cream-of-the-crop/#comment-600873 from Chris, while I am waiting for a few more lines of enquiry, I have found him in an excellent book on WW1 agents published in the 1930's. I do find it incredulous that he received no decorations from Belgium...any thoughts???

Welcome your thoughts on this small collection , would the signature of Von Baden be original and has anyone any information on Oberst von Schwerin (later General der Kavallerie Ludwig Karl von Schwerin) and his links to Russia (The menu has the coat of arms of Russian Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich), sorry but all my books are packed as ever thanks, Paul
