    1. Hello, gentlemen! Previously in this thread I asked about «orange colour» Labour Merit Badge. The reason to ask was this badge. For reverse photo, orange colour enamel badge is on the left. No flash used while taking photo. Now, when all the three badges are in front of my eyes, it is very similar (or even clear), that the difference between brown and orange colour of enamels is not a matter of shade or flash. And my question still is actual. If the «orange» badge is original, and the orange and brown badges are the same Labour Merit Badge (as it is written on the reverse of both), then why the colour differs? The only possible version to my mind, is that the badges were made in different periods (the orange one possibly is a later version), but I doubt about it. There is one more thing about orange badge. It seems to be the remains of white colour on the central part of rays, but not for the longest ones. Speaking of the box for orange badge, it is absolutely different. But it looks like original. The place for the star inside the box was made just for it. What do you, gentlemen, think about the orange badge? Please, share your opinion!
    2. Hello, gentlemеn! Here come three another afterwar Association Merit Badges. The two of them are with blue enamel, one - green enamel. All the badges are of the same size. The blue enamel Merit badges are: "53 years Visit of The Empereur and The Empress" and "63 уеаrs Anniversary Ceremony". For both - "Toumei" mark on the reverse, round pin hook, white metal (not aluminium). The green enamel Merit badge is: «48 years Visit of The Empereur and The Empress». No "Toumei" mark. The hook for pin is different, more simple. The colour of metal (not aluminium) is "warm" - like silver with patina, not that much "cold-white" as the blue enamel badges are.
    3. Yep! Intentionally or production error?
    4. So, reverse inscription mentions nothing conserning reason of isshue? (In contrast with "On the occasion of... " - post 156).
    5. ...batteries not included - what a pity! The value of the set could be more significant. Is it on E-bay?
    6. With your permission, Nick, I also would like to thank your japanese fellow Oleg for translation. So, forgive my persistence, still recipients of the badge remain to be specified. May be, it is not that somebody helped disabled war veterans and Nakajima issued badge to thank that somebody. I suppose, the badge's recipients were disabled war veterans - employees of Nakajima, and the badge was issued to express company's patronage to that veterans. ? Peter.
    7. Indeed! May be japanese fellows could help with direct tranlation and, besides, share ideas about recipients of the badge?
    8. Speaking of "factory-level branches". 1/ Was Nakajima the only company, issued it's own wound badges? 2/ As soon as English transcription is "Badge for help to Disabled War Veterans", then who where recipients of that badges? Not Disabled War Veterans themselves?

      Exactly! Nothing to add.
    10. Still, not comletely. For lower class - OK: 11,100 yen (many thanks to fukuoka). But reasonable price level for 1st class remains to be confirmed. Peter
    11. So for oval merit badges, the design of obvers is the same. For reverse - kanji, evidently, differ depending on event? Do boxes also differ depending on event (year)? Presumably, for merit badges with design of Military Merit Badge the situation is the same?
    12. O-yeah, I try to but I can't... Unimaginable!
    13. And the same badge is on sale now! http://www.ebay.com/itm/JAPANESE-WOUNDED-ASSOCIATION-MERIT-BADGE-JAPAN-MEDAL-ORDER-WOUND-ARMY-NAVY-/271224871244?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f2643194c Looks like to be in great demand!
    14. Thank you, Nick! So bodies of the two badges are also silver?
    15. May be, Nick, you are right... By the way, 4 round white jems on the 1st class badge, they look like a pearl. Am I wrong? What are 4 similar jems on the lower class - Merit Badge?
    16. I mean not the red enamel prototype, but another wounded association badge in green colour.
    17. Very nice comlete set! If I am not mistaken, there is also the same badge but in green enamel .
    18. Thank you! Understood clearly.
    19. Of course, can not. At the same time, even unofficial title "Golden Kite for Industrial Labour" sounds powerlul as soon as JapanX, such a respected person, can't remember other badges, nicknamed same way.
    20. Is there japanese badge(s), not presented in this topic, with image of wound badge of any type?
    21. Well known fact, that some of type 4 badges were made from alloy, not silver. Is there any sign or possibility to determine the metal visually if not to examine it? Thanks!
    22. And no box... OK, check it out!
    23. Sorry for incorrect quoting of fukuoka!
