    1. Bob, I doubt your mate is struggling for pictures but if he has to rely on me taking them then he is on a hiding since it is not an area I am that good at, certainly not for a reference book anyway. Robin, Nice stuff and a lot of it too. Jock:)
    2. Guys, Got these handfull of papers not long ago and didn't think of them until I unfolded the newspaper and seen that it was like a mass memorial sheet posted by the local Gualeiter. Looking at it the family that had kept these few bits of paper were hit quite badly with the loss of the grandmother and mother of the family and the father was seriously wounded. They have marked another 10 names on the main sheet with 'x' so I would presume those were friends known to them on their street or local area? Old Franz Geye I think would have been the opa and already passed away but he served in the 1st war as seen from his SB. Horst Geye was I guess the 'father' that was badly wounded. The sheet commemorates people killed on two seperate nights, the 23rd and the 28th Sep 1943. Just a random fragment that someone preserved and quite sad really. I am going to have a look and see if I can link up the sorties involved, well its on the things to do list anyway! Jock:)
    3. Bob, They are a bit tall to try and photograph, hope this will do. The top one has a shorter distance for the hangers, approx 35cm. Regards Jock:)http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_06_2013/post-15855-0-50698400-1372358426.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_06_2013/post-15855-0-50698400-1372358426.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_06_2013/post-15855-0-66422400-1372358550.jpg
    4. Bob, Off to work soon, will do you some pictures tonight. Jock:)
    5. Bob, Thanks for info, I have 3 and 1/2 (bit missing) Fanfares but they are all pretty well 42cm between the hangers? Cheers Jock:)
    6. Hi Bob, How far apart are the ties on the flag if you don't mind me asking? Would it fit a fanfare trumpet? Cheers Jock:)
    7. Guys, Had this for a while and posted it up elsewhere. I just wondered if anyone here might know anything about it? Cheers. Jock:)
    8. Don, It is just my poor photography, they are both leaning to one side and the camera was closer to one of them, sorry! Regards Jock:)
    9. Guys, Just been going through my tin boxes and rediscovered these pair, sadly one has a broken pin. Gave me an excuse to play with my new usb microsope thing. Jock:)

It looks well enough made and to be honest it was going in the skip if I hadn't grabed it. Jock:)
