I refer everyone to Rudyard Kipling's poem " Tommy ". Everything becomes much clearer, it seems, in hindsight. Today it's not politically correct to honor those who served so gallently when their country needed them the most. These left wing academics, celebrities, and hand wringing navel-gazers are repugnent. -

I just purchased one, no. 258, so I don't think that they are issued in chronological order or that the number refers to any specific V.C. winner; just my humble opinion. I am, however, well pleased with the replica. I own 6 replicas and not one comes even close to the quality, significance, or value of the Hancocks & Co. speciman. Mike
