Does anyone know who maker FD is? I don't see it on my list.

What's a good source for a 1870 EK2? I mean one you can trust with a price that is not too outrageous. I collect EK's and want to add one to my collection one of these days. Thanks, Steve

What is the story on these square punch markings? Are they considered maker marks or some other sort of mark? I have an Imperial EK2 with that mark on the ring and was wondering about it. It has a zinc core.

Thank's don't think that's it but if I knew what I was looking for it would help. I'm using a 15x loup but may need more.

How many other Imperial EK makers have fancy symbols like this? I have a EK2 that has 2 different marks on the ring that is attached to the cross itself but I can't tell what they are. One of them appears to be some sort of stylized symbol kind of like the AWS one shown here, although it is different. The other mark is 3 letters or numbers by the look of it. Is there a list showing different maker symbols as opposed to just letters? I'm really wondering what these marks are.
