Seems to be a Shako ! Before the war Adolf von Zeschau was Adjudant of 2. Division Nr. 24. he went from I.R. Nr. 106. At the end of the war he was at the head of the I.R. Nr. 183. Three officers with name von Zeschau wore SH2. I don't know if they were brothers or from the same family, but it's interresting to note. Christophe

Hello everybody, I'm looking for information about the Coburger Abzeichen. In Max Hans' book, this badge was created by Duke of Coburg Gotha on October, the 14th 1932 to commemorate the Adlf Hitler march of 14-15 october 1922. Only 436 men received this medal, which become on November, the 6th 1936 "Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP". I want to know if pictures of this badge can be posted (reverse and observe), some close up, box and paper. Thanks for your help. Do you know where I can find the list of the 436 men who received it? Hi No ObstLt. Ewesrt but Oberstleutnant Bruno EWERT in the RL 1914, he was Major in I.R.Nr. 170. He has RAO4, PDA and Centenary medal. He received the BZ3aX in19 september 1914 as Major in L.I.R. Nr 109. He was at the head of the I.R. Nr. 423 at the end of the war. he died on March, the 20th 1920. Christophe

Look at your ribon bars on post # 4 and post # 5. the ribbon for Winter campain should be ahead the KVK and not at the end of ther ribbon bar. Strange Can you show us the back please ? Christophe

Hi Charles, Your ribbon bar on post #2 is not correct. Where is the ribbon for iron cross. We find only the knight cross with X of hte House order of Hohenzollern. First we have to find iron cross ribbon and then, if it is the case, the Hohenzollern ribbon with device. Sorry but I have a doubt about this one. Christophe
