Hope you don't mind my sharing these with you ,but i am very proud to have them. They are the medals of my gandfather J.H.Westley 66258,RFA/RA. My father handed them down to me.I have had them framed and they now hang on the living room wall.I,m posting a few more items below. Thanks for looking. Regards,Martin.

They were probably members of Luftwaffenkomando See,the Naval Air Arm.Reinhard Hardegen spent 4 years in Naval Aviation. The Naval Air Arm was dispanded in 1939 after the invasion of Poland and Goering declared "Every thing that flies belongs to me".Hardegen and his fellow pilots were then assigned to the Ubootwaffe. Regards,Martin.

Hi Alexy, nice looking badge.I have one identical. The badge is in very poor condition but it was the first badge i ever owned. It was given to me by my uncle when i was a kid back in the 1960's.He was in the British Parachute Regiment.I,m of the opinion that these badges were made by Foerster & Barth. Regards,Martin.

Great story John. Can you post some of Mr.Marshall's photographs? Regards,Martin. -
Jody, I think that the Schwerin Auxiliary Cruiser badge is probably the finest of all the Kriegsmarine badges produced and you certainly have a stunning example. I have one in zinc and although the guilding has faded the detail is superb. Hard to tell from the scan but is your badge slightly vaulted? Regards,Martin.
