Hi everybody! I found this information about Prinz Georg on Wikipedia (Deutsch)... basically just confirming what Rick found in his research on him with a couple of information added: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georg_III._(Sachsen-Meiningen) Leben Georg war ein Sohn des Prinzen Friedrich von Sachsen-Meiningen und dessen Frau Adelheid Prinzessin zu Lippe-Biesterfeld. Nach dem Tod seines Vaters war er seit 1914 Kronprinz von Sachsen-Meiningen. Er ?bernahm den Herzogstitel des nicht mehr existierenden Herzogtums von Sachsen-Meiningen nach dem Tode seines Onkels Bernhard III. im Jahre 1928. Georg arbeitete sp?ter als Richter in Hildburghausen. Nach der ?Machtergreifung? der Nationalsozialisten trat er zum 1. Mai 1933 in die NSDAP ein und erhielt die Mitgliedsnummer 2.594.794. W?hrend des Zweiten Weltkriegs war er Major bei der Wehrmacht. Georg starb 1946 in sowjetischer Kriegsgefangenschaft in Sibirien. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurden zahlreiche Kunstgegenst?nde aus seiner Privatsammlung in der sowjetischen Besatzungszone enteignet, 2007 erhielt seine Tochter Regina 47 Gem?lde von der Stiftung Schloss Friedenstein zur?ck. Dear Pierce, Marvellous bars! Are they in your collection? Btw the medal bar with the Olympia Ehrenzeichen is quite something. These are quite rare to be found mounted on a parade medal bar, since I guess most of them were awarded to Civilians and Gold Pheasants of the party. I have also found on a book I have in my library (Ehrenzeichen des Herzogsgutm Sachsen-Altenburg, Dekorationen des Herzoglich Sachsen Ernestinischen Hausorden 1814-1918) a great medal bar (see attachment), unfortunately also unnamed. Kl. mit Schwertern (OEK 157), S vg Hohenzollern, Fürstlich Hohenzollernscher Hausorden, 2. Modell (1852 ? jetzt), Kreuz 3. Klasse mit Schwertern, ab 1866 (OEK 1035/1), S Deutsches Reich 1933-45, Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer (OEK 3803/1), Hersteller R.V.67. Pforzheim Medaillen: Preußen, Eisernes Kreuz 1914, 1. Klasse (OEK 1908), Hersteller vermutlich Paul Meybauer Knopflochschleife mit Bänder des EK, FEK, BZ2 I would need any additional information on Ravan Freiherr Göler von Ravensburg. During the WWII he also has been awarded with the Iron Cross 2nd class clasp 1939 and the KVK 2. Kl. 1939, since I saw his ribbon bar, but I unfortunately couldn't successfully bid on it. Hi Tom, It looks like a Typical J. Reimann bar... Dark fabric on the back, very thick and solid needle system, padded ribbons on the front. Very nice... and if it comes also with a name, it's like having a cherry on a cake! Ciao, Claudio

The bar came with these decorations... a wound badge in black and a later awarded Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen f?r 25 Jahre.
