      This man is Bernhard von Bulow , who later become chancellor .he was not a regular officer but a reservist one . He voluntereed in 1870 in the Hussars Regiment No 7 ,took part in combats and raised to the rank of Lieutenant .after the war he was invited to stay in the Army but he declined . as he remained reservist he raised in rank 

    2. The Polish Cavalry was numerically important from 1919 to 1939. It comprised Lancers Regiments , Light Horsemen Regiments and Mounted Rifles Regiments .The Lighthorsemen were Three Regiments only and weared distinctive peaked caps with rounded top instead of the more common square topped konfederatka cap curiously in the badge figures a Lancer cap
