eurorders , The Spanish Military Merit Cross ,with red distinctive could be pensionada ,that is linked with a life long monetary assignation to the recipient or his mourners in case of the posthumous awards. Today the Military Merit Cross with red distinctive is not pensionada . strangely the equivalent Cross for the Guardia Civil and the Policia Nacional is pensionada

Hello ,Iam not certain if in Imperial Germany or Austria Hungary existed decorations with a monetary stipendium anexed but i can said that in many cases the Monarch added to the award a money donation . The Prussian Kings were very generous with the generals and high officials which served well . Emperor Francis Joseph was also a grateful monarch . In Great Britain after WW1 Sir Douglas Haig received apart of the honours a metallic donation of 100 thousand pounds . In Germany It was called Dotation ,Crown Dotation and could be in metallic or Land , curiously during the Weimar Republic and during the III rd Reich the System was mantained , Hitler was very generous with his followers or persons who desires to flatter

The Austro Hungarian M 15 mountain cannon was one of the best pieces of his kind ever made. it was used after the War by the Italians in Lybia, Ethiopia , Greece , Russia and again Lybia. It remained also in service with Hungary ,Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. The Czech Army until its demotion in 1939 used the gun too , the Polish Army destroyed in 1939 employed many pieces .even the Wehrmacht employed the 75mm M15 . either the ones belonging to the Austrian Bundesheer until 1938 or the Italian ones captured after the 1943 Armnistice

Hello bcalkins , If a fake, it was carefully made by someone with good knowledge of the matter . But its something that a faker rarely take in account and is the Cloth . is possible to determine if the cloth has 100 years or is a today one. perhaps the cap is a reenactement uniform item .manufactured in Eastern Europe ,from the Czech Republic to Romania , including Poland
