    1. Military medal set with the ribbon bars (Pakistan)
    2. I agree, the russian eagle has traditionally been double headed but the orb and spectre are two of the most prominent things seen in the russian coats of arms. These badges definitively have similarities with the russian badges though, however you do have a good point that i noticed myself Hashim
    3. Hey Paul Totally agreed, however there are 4 awards dedicated to Jinnah though, Nishan e Quaid-e-Azam, Hilal e Quaid-e-Azam, Sitara e Quaid-e-Azam and Tamgha e Quaid-e-Azam. I have only seen the last mentioned Hashim
    4. The first and third seem more likely to be russian as the ord and spectre have historically been a part of russian coats of arms Hashim
    5. Haven't seen many medals with frame covering the parts of the medal, it looks old and vintage, but the frame does seem odd, others in the forum may be able to tell you more since german medals isnt my field Regards Hashim
    6. Hey The only thing that bugs me is the swastika and the first number being covered by the frame, is it because of the picture angel?
    7. Hey You seem to have documentation attached to the medal and that is something collectors love, pretty sure all the documentation will surely raise the price Regards Hashim
    8. I did some more research and looks like it is unofficial, thereby has no heritage/historic value. Still looks too neat to be an unofficial medal though
    9. Hey, the badges do seem like polish regimental badges, are there any markings on the rear side? Regards Hashim
    10. Hey, the top text is " 2001 year of Quaid e Azam", according to which i have been able to find out, this is not a official medal given by the state however it might be produced privately as an academic award or as a commemoration Regards Hashim
    11. Hey guys, stumbled upon this. Does any one have any knowledge about this? The picture in the medal is of the founder of pakistan, but is this an order? Suggestions will be welcomed
    12. Thats a really nice collection you have, i haven't been very deep into the post independence medals but these are surely interesting Regards Hashim
    13. Hey Paul I really hope you'll be able to find the medal you're looking for, i have recently started collecting so my collection isnt that huge, i have seen many PIM online, is there a special PIM for the Pakistan air force? Regards Hashim
    14. Thanks Larry, finding pictures of these orders is a bit of a challenge though
    15. PA stand for Pakistan Army number, a designated number which is given to every solider for the purpose of identification,
    16. Seem like you have a large collection of Pakistani medals, is it alright of me to ask you to publish pictures of your collection? Regards Hashim
    17. Hey, do you still have this order? would like to know more about it
    18. Hey Brian, really impressed over the collection you have, I do have have 10, 20 and 30 years medals since my grand dad was in the army. I was able to find a picture of the 40 years service medal, pretty sure this is the rarest medal to find
