    1. 2.Czechoslovak Commemorative Medal-Czechoslovak Army Abroad It was instituted 15.10.1943 in London by the Ministry of National Defence. It was given to Czechoslovak soldiers who served in the foreign units, also foreign soldiers could be awarded with this medal. It was made from bronze, dimensions 36x48mm.The wreath constitutes this medal with a sword and a siiver lion down.In the reverse is the inscription in the Czech language Czechoslovak Army Abroad. There 3 versions of the medal A, London issue .This medal in the picture is with small bronze labels, which show the places of the battles of Czech and Slovak soldiers:.F-France,VB-Geat Britain.Notice the differences later. B,Prague issue 1945.The medals have labels-SSSR-the USSR,Střední Východ-Middle East, and again France,Great Britain and abbreviation SV-Middle East. C,Prague issue 1945-1947.There are some differences,e.g.the lion is screwed with the letter Z-Zineger Firm, and the letters are in the depth. I am sorry but I do not have the certificate dimesions 21x30cm.I have only the Affirmance 10x20cm to Ján Prna and the Permit 7x11cm for Ján Hanulík.Also I would like to add the photo of all my medals in the etuis.
    2. 20 years ago I also had some Balkani awards. It is impossible to have and collect everything,so they changed to another collector.Among them was also the Redeemer Order.
    3. I decided to create a new topic, where I would like to introduce the awards of the 2nd Resistance, that means orders and medals for merit in fighting against fascism.I realize it will be a long work-lots of taking pictures, writing commentaries... Please,be patient.Czechoslovak awards are interesting not the only with nice design, but also the number of awards was extremly low.It is my point of view, and you need not to agree with it.All items in the topic will be from my collection.I hope you will find it interestnng to have a look at the topic. 1.Czechoslovak Medal of Janošík It weas institued 14.6.1946 as an award for the partisanes mostly in Protektorat Bohemia and Moravia. For partisanes in Slovakia was the Order of the Slovak National Uprising. But it does not mean,no Slovak citizens got this medal. The number of award is not high, about 450.The Medal of Janošík is made from bronze, diameter 35mm.In the obverse we can see the figure of Slovak national hero,a robber from 18 th century, that took rich and gave to poor. The titlle-Better not to be,than to be a slave. In the reverse -For Bravery in the Partisane Battles of Czecs and Slovaks. In the topic are pictures of the medal with a certificate. The period to honouring with the medal was probably to 1949.
    4. Many thanks for your interest to my topic.I am sorry but I have not seen copies of this orden -military version on the market. But I have one left-original with swords for sale.Probably, somebody will want to buy it.It is in excellent condition. Order without swords is rare:20,50 awards? With swords is not rare:1000 or more awards?
    5. The next one is for Stroinova Ekaterina Vasilyevna, number 83497.
    6. The versions of Commemorative Medals in Gold-bronze gilted.I do not exactly know for whom they were issued.Probably for some prominent persons.I have not met anybody who has them.Or an official issue? The second medal is the 50th Anniversary of the Victory over Fascism. The diameter 3cm. A few days ago I was bidding this rare medal, but when I got the information,my friend was taking part in auction,I stopped biding. The next version of the Commemorative Medal of the 50th Anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising.
    7. My Lenin Orders.I hope tomorrow I will take some more pictures. For now 461920.
    8. I hope somebody has been in the Museum of the Uniforms and saw this medal live to compare with mine.Numbers:33,34,35,41,42 in the board. The panel from the museum.
    9. Instituted: 8.2.1955. Awarded: For outstanding merit in the defense of the country, enhancement of defense capability etc. or for good service in the army or police.Awarded about 6000? decorations.Probably a little more. Many orders were awarded in 1969,when President General Ludvik Svoboda decorated the deserved fighters against the fascism. The dimension of the enameled star is 45 mm,the silver circle in the middle has a diameter 12 mm. We recognise two versions of the order. Type 1,1955-1960.Here it is with a certificate, number 581.In the circle in the reverse we can read-Za socialistickou vlast-For the Socialist Country. Type 2 ,1961-1990. In the obverse we can see the new sign,in the reverse the initials ČSSR-Československá socialistická republika. Personally I like this order ,though having enamels on both sides we can find a lot of orders with the damages of them. The order is made from silver,900 purity of silver. The marks are in the suspension. All orders in the topic are from my collection.Very rare are orders with a big certificate.
    10. And what about this on?Is it a souvenir or an award?Dimension-66 mm,weight 120 gr.
    11. I have found some more photos of this award with a small certificate among the other pictures of my collection ,num.281.
    12. It is not easy to addict to collecting these items,I think.E.g.I myself have never seen this award with the certificate at the auctions,or flea markets, either at the meetings of collectors in Slovakia.Of course,it is a big prestige to have all soviet orders or honour titles with certificates.By the way, what is the price for this award with the certificate-500$?
    13. The Order of Falcon or Štefaníks Order was established in 1918 by General Štefaník to award the officers-legionnaires in Russia. In the obverse of the order we can see three falcons over the hills. The image of the order is a five-raised star. The idea was to exist in five classes like in the Order of Honour-France ,but it was not realised,so we have only the lowest grade-Knight.Diameter of order is 4 cm,made from bronze, white and blue enameled. There are 3 versions concerning of the production of the order. 1.Production Tokio-Japan 1918 -the orders were issued in etuis from balsa wood. 2.Production Prague 1920 3.Production Prague 1945 There are some tiny differeces between these versions. Two types of the order exist. I.The order with swords. II.The order without swords. There are no swords over the star. This type is more interesting for collectors. It occurs less than type with swords. These two orders are from my collection and the miniature ,too, but I stole the photo of the certificate of the order from the internet.I have not had any certificate in my collection since. The photos of the orders I made a long time ago by any occassions,so they are differet in sizes.
    14. I also have found the photo of the reverse of the VDNKh medals.I want to ask for the better photo of this medal.I have seen it for the first time.Obverse and reverse, please. Many thanks.
    15. I decided also to show some orders from my collection.Step by step, time by time I will introduce some awards to your attention. 1.2 X The Order of the October Revolution. Number 49832 is with an order book.It was awarded to Ekaterina Alexeevna Sokhanich. She was awarded also with Lenin Order, but I do not have it. The next Order of the October Revolution is number 63978. Orders are in exelent condition.
    16. Bill,I am sure your topics enrich the division. Thanks for showing.
    17. I got some information about Nikolaj Mikhailovich Orekhov. He served in the Far East and participated war with Japan.
    18. This is the topic without the photos of the Hungarian awards,so I decided to add some.Hoping nobody will delete them as previous ones. Next pictures.
    19. The gold medal did not belong my father. He was not awarded with this medal.Simply, I added the medal to the collection. It is in a nice condition.
    20. I have found some Hungarian awards ,period Horty. They will be for sale, but I do not know when.So they are just now only for showing. Next pictures with the miniatures. I had to wait for a while.
    21. I will add my Vitez Rend-in the midlle.Remember in the past I had many nice Hungarian awards from this period.
    22. Probably the strange name for the order ,when we cannot see any flag in the design, but only a red enameled star with a smaller goldener one in the midlle. The title of the order is because of the red ribbon.Dimensions of the enameled star-45mm,gold one -23mm.The order was made from gilted silver, mark 925. It was established in 8.2.1955 and was awarded for extraordinary activity in defence of the homeland but also for the personal bravery in face of the enemy. Also foreigners were awarded with this order.About 500 deorations were bestowed, but I do not know the exact number. There were two versions of the order.I have never seen the first type to 1960.Of course I have never had it in my collection ,too. Two orders I am showing in the topic are from my collection.Number 265 .General-lieutenant Josef Kováčík was awarded with this order in 1971.Prague Mint Zukov is a producer of the order. Probably in the early 80ies of the 20th century, the production of the orders was moved to Kremnica.I also have the Kremnica Mint version, number 460.This order was awarded to Lieutenant-Colonel Ján Hanulík.Ján Hanulík was an extraordinary personality a main armourer in the 1st Czechoslovak Corps of General Svoboda. I do not have very good photos of this order but I hope I will do them better when I make some topics-e.g.Military complets of Chechoslovak officers.
    23. There are not many North Vietnam awards in this division,so I am trying to fill space. Here you are-the 1st version.
