    1. Hello, Back in February 2008, I was given a rather large collection of DAK cloth, Ribbon Bars, and Stickpins, from the widow of a local collector. Since I am a teacher she wanted me to have have her husbands things. The woman was wealthy and wanted no money for any of it. I still ended up giving her over $500 for her husbands refernce books (over 1,000 books). Here is one of my bars. I hope you like it Rick(s) and could possibly tell me something about it. Here is a link to my Silesian Eagle and Police bars from the same lot. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=3351...mp;#entry315015 http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=3351...mp;#entry315018 Thank You, Jody
    2. Hello folks, I would like to share with you my Silesian Eagle ribbon bar. I was given this bar back in February (along with several other nice ribbons bars by the widow of a DAK collector). I also have a nice frack bar too with Silesian Eagle, sadly these images are too big to load. Regards, Jody
    3. Hi Gordon, I was not able to examine the maker mark (I was able to examine them in their cases, out from behind the display case), but Dietrich M did look at them (at Jason's home) and he said the mark was unkown to him. I can say this the oakleaves were more flat and too me they seemed wider. The oakleaves (at least to me again) were simillar to examples found on some PLMs. The crosses were beautiful and were finished identical to their standard RK des KvK brothers. To be honest, they were the neatest thing to me at the Max Show and I kept coming back to Jason's table to view them. Sadly I was unable to photograph them. You would have loved to have seen them. Regards, Jody
    4. Hello folks, I just returned from the Max Show (2008) and two of the neatest things I saw were at the table of Jason B. They were prototypes for the RK des KvK mit Oakleaves in they were silver and gold with swords and were obtained from a veteran who picked them up at Klessheim. The oakleaves were different from the type worn on the RK des EK. I looked at the crosses and do not doubt them being original. Did anyone else view these beauties? I guess these now have to be addded to the chain of the KvK family. Regards, Jody

    9. Hi Hendrik, These do look like the ones that came out the back door. As a matter of fact they even used to sell them in groups of 3. I know several guys that own them. Regards, Jody

    14. Hi Darrell, I like your JFS Destroyer, and the finish is pretty nice. I have found the finish on JFS badges not to hold up too well. Cool piece. Martin, you have a sweet Destroyers badge there. Regards, Jody
    15. Hi Darrell, That is a very nice fleet that you have there. Regards, Jody
