    1. Hi folks, I have always loved the Destroyers badge by Schwerin Berlin. I would like to see what other Destroyer badges are out there. So let us see your best Destroyers badge. Regards, Jody Here is my badge. There is actually no gilt missing anywhere on the badge (there is no gilt missing on the eagle, but it looks like it in the scan) and it is perfect (I feel it is hard to beat).
    2. Hello folks, Here is my Ground Assault badge by M.u.K.5. This badge was captured by a relative of mine. This is one of my favorite badges (for obvious reasons). It makes a great companion piece to my para badge. I would love to see other ground assaults, so please post them on this thread. Regards, Jody
    3. Hello folks, Here is a fake eagle spange from the late 1970's. Regards, Jody
    4. Hi Eric, I agree this has been a great thread, I am so glad I posted my para badge. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of a 1st pattern Juncker? Regards, Jody
    5. Hi folks, What a bunch of great badges, now I want a 1st pattern Juncker. You guys may make me a Luftwaffe collector again. Super stuff. Regards, Jody
    6. Hello, Thanks, I have always liked Luftwaffe stuff, but I have always felt that the KM had prettier badges. Plus at the time, there were a lot of Luft guys and I wanted to be a KM guy, more of a big fish in a small pond. BTW, I love your badges and especially your Assmann. Regards, Jody
    7. Hello folks, I bought this badge in the mid-1970's at a yard sale (from a WWII veteran). It is one of my favorite badges and one that I will not sell. I have found it difficult to find nice orignal Juncker badges with the finish to the blackened wreath still intact. I think this piece is a great example of what this badge looked like when it was originally issued. I think the only other badge that is nicer than or equal to a Juncker is an early Assmann. I wait to hear any comments or thoughts on the badge. Best Regards, Jody
    8. Hi Chris, Thanks, I have not really been into Heer buckles, and the green on this is different than the green on the other Heers that I own. Regards, Jody
    9. Hello, I was given these buckles the other day. I have a question is this Heer a tropical? Regards, Jody
    10. Hi Eric, Cool looking badge and somewhat rare. I like that one a lot. Regards, Jody
    11. Hello folks, Here is my 2nd style Juncker Pilot badge. This badge is also cased and I have owned it since around 1976. This is another favorite of mine. I sold off a lof of my Luft badges to finance my Kriegsmarine badge fever, but the ones I am showing are keepers. Regards, Jody
    12. Hello guys, Thanks, it actually looks better in person (especially when it is in its case). Regards, Jody
    13. Hello, It came out of a grouping. The documents were kept, but the other things were sold off. I have a two piece medal bar that also belonged to a U-boat man by the name of Eugene Budde (it was from another split up grouping), sadly I can't post the images. I guess they are too large. Regards, Jody
    14. Hi Rob, To be honest, I have not seen a fake of the KM buckle in aluminum, although I have not really looked. I bought this buckle in a junk shop in a little Arizona town for $40 a couple of years ago. It was marked Nazi buckle. Regards, Jody
    15. Hello, I would like to share with you this medal bar. Nothing special, but it is nice to find a single mount. Regards, Jody
    16. Hello, I would like to share my Pilot-Observer badge by Assmann. This badge is cased and is one of my favorites. I have owned it over 26 years and I doubt I will ever sell it. Regards, Jody
    17. Hello, Yes, I agree the badge is bad. Here is an original Assmann example from my collection. Regards, Jody
    18. Hello, I would like to share with you photos of my Aux Cruisers badge by Schwerin Berlin. This badge was given to me back in 1980 by a family friend who was a WWII veteran. This is a textbook example of what a good one should look like. Regards, Jody
    19. Hi Gordon, I will say it again, I love that clasp. Great example (thanks for the pictures)! Regards, Jody Here is the 2nd pattern for a comparison:
    20. Hi Rob, Thanks. I have heard from new guys starting to collect buckles that they would love to get an SS, I always tell them forget the SS, KM em in gold is one of the hardest. I wouldn't dream of letting this guy go. This would be the last buckle I would hold on to, if I was forced to sell them. Regards, Jody
