Of course no general question mark for AWS,just for this one!I also would like to see a maker marked one(on the backplate).... @Greg-it seems to be that the washer is mostly missing(at my other one also) Micha
You are right,Mike-the core is different to the "regular" pin and screwbacks we know from "AWS"-For me it looks like it's a sheetmetal core-the quality isn't also the best so I would suggest it's a piece from the late 20ies. And of course it could also be that we have here a totally different maker that has used "AWS" design of the backplate. Maybe I should make a big question mark behind "AWS".........? Micha
Again the thing with the cases and cardboxes....very addictive! A really nice 2nd class red cross medal in the case and together with a perfect cardbox! Micha
This one came in yesterday-another unmarked "AWS" screwback, and this time complete with the big washer...now I must try to find one for my other one! Micha
You are the one I mean,Mike While watching the pics of your fantastic collection I decided to follow you collecting EK equivalents. And as long as I can't find EK variations I haven't got........... Micha
@Dond-yes,the one with the hooks is a Godet. @Sascha-for me it seems to be that Knauer not only made FA crosses,it looks like he also was a retailer-I've seen a few cased ones I would also call private purchased.....but anyway,it came in this case and it will stay there. Micha
What a start-the first EK1 and then a "107"! Well done,Joel-it took me years to find my 107!! @Jan Arne-as usual a real minty one from you.....and I thought I'm the only one who's hunting the minty ones Micha
