    1. I suspect that many of these small cottage makers only made daggers early during the 3rd Reich and closed their doors when the war started,or very soon after.Seems only the bigger makers(like WKC,Eickhorn,Alcoso, and Holler for example) were able to continue making them until around 1943.
    2. I've always wondered why the black grips,be they painted or not, were longer than their lighter companions.
    3. Sorry to say,my camera and pic taking skills haven't improved over the years!
    4. Klassy!! On the one with the wire,is the wire the same as used on Lufts? Is the Rail grip longer than the one that has the chipped paint?
    5. Don't know if this wall above the storage shown above would be considered storage since it's really more of a display. Flag is a repro.
    6. Bob showed the proper way to store daggers, now I'll show the cheaper route.
    7. My favorite 2nd Luft.(I don't have many,so the choice is easy!).It's by Puma.
    8. Thanks Laurance, but my dagger collection pales in comparison to the ones Bob and DJR have. And while my Heer dagger collection might outnumber Jim M's,he has me beat in most other areas.
    9. Always a pleasure to view Denny's Heer daggers and to learn more about my favorite area of militaria collecting!
    10. Since I can't afford Fire Official's daggers,I'm stuck with just the regular 3rd Reich Fire bayos.
    11. Now that is a dagger worth keeping! While I'd love to collect Fire Official Daggers,my budget just doesn't allow it! But perhaps if I stay off several sites for a long while, maybe I could afford one eventually!Fat chance of that though! They offer too many great goddies!!
