    1. Hello This is my favourite soviet aircraft pins. It might not be the most interesting, or valuable collection. I normally collect german ww II items, and that is getting rather expencive, so I think it's nice to collect these good looking pins, as an inexpencive sideline collection. All the best Snoopy

    3. I have these two patches in my collection. They are very similar in design. The first one is for motor rifles. The other one is much darker red. My question, is the darker patch for the MVD. All the best Snoopy Motor rifles. The picture came out much to dark. the colour of the patch, is bright red.

    7. Hello Can anyone help me with some information, about a beret that I have in my collection. I know allmost nothing about DDR items. Was there any special units, that used these berets? My beret is unused. All the best Snoopy
    8. I know that this might be a stupid question, but is it common for citizens of former Soviet states, still to be awarded russian medals? A couple of days ago, a friend gave me a medal, with what I believe is a ukrainian document. Snoopy
    9. An old gentleman that I know, witnessed the accident, as a young man. He told me that he remembered hearing the sound of an aircraft, circling in the fog. Suddenly he saw a bright flash, lighting up the fog, and the sound of an explosion. The day after, he went up there, and he told me that it was not a pretty sight. The remains of the crew that was recovered, was burried by the germans at the crash site, and they are still there. The grave markers are gone, so no one knows for certain, where they are burried.     12. Hi Paul The aircraft hit a hill side, in dense fog, and exploded. The aircraft was shattered into small pieces, except for the tail section. Snoopy
