    1. Hello Jody I like it! It's in excellent condition. Who is the manufacturer? Snoopy
    2. Hello Thanks, I am going to take a look at that. All the best, Snoopy
    3. Hi Dan Yes, I remember your russian infantryman. I liked it a lot. You have really put a lot of thaught and research into your vignettes. I like the compositions of the vignettes, and the realistic postures of the figures. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. All the best, Snoopy
    4. Hello I agree with Darrel. I allso believe that a hygrometer are used for measuring humidity. Snoopy
    5. Hi Dan I must say that I am very impressed with your figures. They look excellent, even without paint. What kind of putty do you use, when you sculpt your models? Do you model mainly world war one subjects? Personally I build mainly aircraft models. Some day I might have a go at some figures, but figurepainting have allways worried me a bit. Snoopy
    6. Hello I have no picture of it in use, but I can imagine that they used them on seaplanes, for sending messages to ships. I have posted a blurry picture of the label, but I think it's possible to read what it says. This lamp came from a former german airbase, in Norway. Snoopy
    7. Hello It was impossible for my camera to take a picture of the markings on this one, but they are as follows. Waffenamtnumber 217, and "dhv". This code belonged to the "Berliner Physikalische Werkstatten G.M.b.H." There is no "Fl." number. I believe that's it's not uncommon for some weapon related accessories to lack these numbers. I allso own a Luftwaffe dustcover. This cover allso lacks this number, but it has a waffenamt stamp. I have no wartime pictures of the spent cartridge collector. One identical, is depicted in "Uniforms and tradition", by John R. Angolia and Adolf Slicht. I believe it's vol. 3. Snoopy
    8. Hello I have no wartime pictures, showing one of them in use. I have tried to take a picture of the label. I am sorry to say that it's not very good. My camera is not very good for close ups, or maybe it's the cameraman? Snoopy
    9. The only marking I can find, is a Kriegsmarine eagle inkstamp, in the interior.
    10. Hello I have been told that the item below, is for a dentist's instruments. It's in unused condition. Do you have any opinions on this one? Snoopy
    11. The following items, is not a medic's equipment, but I would like to show it anyway. It's for a dentist's instruments. It cost me the princely sum, of just over 3 $, at an antiques fair.
    12. Small metal box with tubes of ointment, and a pouch for scissors and tweezers.
    13. First aid pouches, and identitycard for a medic. The identitycard is denazified, but it's the only one I have.
    14. More medical stuff from my collection. The first one is a DRK manual about first aid.
    15. Well, I have to admit that I don't know a lot about the contents of this box, except something my father told me. He was in the norwegian army in the nineteen fiftie's. He told me that he could remember these wooden boxes, and that it contained pills, and he seemed to remember that they where black. If they suffered from stomachpains, headache or whatever, they would get one of these pills. Snoopy
    16. Hello again I am the proud owner of a this shoulder board. I have had it for years. I believe that it's for the SD. Is that correct? Snoopy
    17. Hello Rick Thanks for the info. Would these volunteers have continued to use these boards into the Third reich era? I really like your shoulder boards. Snoopy
    18. Hello Am I correct, in that these shoulder straps, are from the Feuerschutz polizei? Snoopy
    19. Hello Thanks. I have posted a few tunics in the Lw uniform section. Sadly, I have no tunics from the medical branch. It's one of my not so secret dreams, to get a Lw medic's tunic. The closest I get is a single shoulderstrap from the army, shown below. I tried the scanner on this one. The colour, though difficult to see, is actually blue. Snoopy
    20. Hello Thanks for the kind words. The colour of the bag is what I would call, blue grey. It's a bit dirty, looks like storage dust. This makes the inkstamp a bit difficult to read. I haven't dared to clean it. I am not shure if it's early, or late war. Can't find any date. My camera is useless for close ups, so this is the best I could manage. Below I have written down, what the stamp says. The next picture, is of the other side of the bag. It's marked with a white stripe. Snoopy Trinkwasserbeh?lter 5l. Bauart: Flieger Ger?t Nr. : ? (This number is difficult to read). Werk-Nr. : 1455 Anforderz. : Fl. 86705 (some of the numbers are a bit difficult to read, bit I think this is it). Hersteller : Dr?gerwerk L?beck (Some of the letters, are a bit difficult to read, but after closer scrutiny, it looks like Dr?ger).
