    4. Fragettenkapitän Karl von Müller SMS Emden, http://en.wikipedia....von_M%C3%BCller http://en.wikipedia....MS_Emden_(1908) And the Battle for Cocos, involving the SMS Emden and the HMAS Sydney, and the aftermath involving von Müllers 2IC Kapitänleutnant Hellmuth von Mücke would make a SENSATIONAL movie http://en.wikipedia....Battle_of_Cocos
    5. Hi Dan Thanks for the tips on the medals, and the links. The one for Ernst Jünger was real interesting, while the other for the ersatz Prinz was also interesting, but for entirely different reasons :speechless:
    6. Sorry, is he not the hereditary Duke of Saxony and Westphalia? Or are the medals all fake? Or both?
    7. Hi Sergio Can you let me know why it's a fake please? I'm trying to learn about good and bad medal bars, and this thread has been very informative. Does the medal bar have the wrong medals on it, or something else?
    8. Thanks Andreas! I don't know why I said 9 instead of 12. It was late..........
    9. My 4er Knopflochspange 1914EKII/Frontkämpfer/PrußenDienstauszeichnung 2. Klasse für 12 Dientstjahre/Kaiser Wilhelm I Zentenarmedaille
    10. Sorry Pete! I thought you may not have had them as you were unsure of a couple of them, my mistake! When his next series comes out, apparently 2013/14, it should have at least 15,000 listings. However, I don't think you should worry too much about the reference numbers changing, my '94 and '02 Tieste books still carry over with the same classification numbers as the current '06 volumes. I have over 100 non-Tieste pieces, mainly pre-1930. I asked him if he was going to include pre-'30 tinnies next time, and he said he may or he may publish a separate volume to deal with these. I'm thinking of maybe starting a pre-1930 tinnies thread, what do you think about that? Some of mine go back as far as 1877 :)
