Here's a nice piece of survival gear carried by aircrew in tropical regions. Not too often seen. I can't post very detailed photos due to the "probationary period" restrictions on my account. Maybe later. --Kevin
I haven't run across the '9' mm on an Imperial EK2 before. The cross is 44mm wide, which I've been told means that it was made during the TR period. It also appears that there is a partial '800' stamp on the ring. Let me know what you think about this one. Regards, Kevin
I may try to acquire this document as part of a grouping. From the research I've done, nothing looks wrong with it. Am I correct in saying that this is an authentic document? Regards, Kevin
This should be arriving next week. Awarded to Oberleutnant Heinrich Bertsch. Courtesy of Stijn David: "Heinrich Bertsch was part of the 4.(H)/Aufkl?rungsgruppe 23 when he was awarded the DKiG on 24.06.1943" I will also be getting his DKiG document, which I'm posting in the LW Documents section. I'm pretty sure it's a good one, but please have a look. Regards, Kevin
