Hi, I need your help - I am asking for informations about the life and military career of Julius Ferdinand Wilhelm GREGOROVIUS, 1871 Oberst and Kommandant der 2. Fußabteilung des Ostpreußischen Feldartillerie Regiments Nr.1 (later: Feld-Artillerie-Regiment Prinz August von Preußen (1. Lithauisches ) Nr.1) ... around 1882 ausser Dienste. So I'm searching for any informations (service records, awards, etc. ...) and portraits about him! Thank you for any help you can give me! Best regards, Jens ... there are two regimental histories: "Feld-Artillerie-Regiment Prinz August von Preußen (1. Lithauisches ) Nr.1 Geschichte des Ostpreussischen Feldartillerie-Regiments Nr.1 von Fhr. v. Troschke, Berlin 1872, Verlag E. S. Mittler u. Sohn, 280 Seiten." ... and an other one from 1939: "Das Feldartillerie-Regiment 'Prinz August von Preußen (1. Litth.) Nr. 1 - 1772-1919." (Schriftenreihe: Aus Deutschlands großer Zeit. Ehem. preuß. Truppenteile Band 118.) Alfred Laeger, 1939 Zeulenroda: Sporn, 552 Seiten. (maybe with pictures???)
