    1. Hungarian Horthy period, (1920 ? 1944) militaria. The photograph is my grandfather as a cadet at the Ludovika Military academy.

    3. Hello Hunyadi! It?s not very easy to give a quick explanation on something that took me years to develop and figure out using Photoshop. If you are not very familliar with Photoshop technic, a quick tutorial would be hard to understand. I got this question a lot so i have put together a series of pictures that i usually send explaining my technic, but for that you have to know Photoshop quite good. I?d be happy to sent it. Just drop me an e-mail. To give an idea of the work is behind a colouring like these, i attach a before-and-after pic one one of my latest works. Cheeres! Peter
    4. Here is the second photo I did today. Well, it?s not a Hungarian at all but still I think I post it here to share it with you. Kaiser Wilhelm II almost leaped out of the photo when it got some colour..
    5. Here is one photo I did today. I got it from a guy who had a really old worn out copy of his great grandfather from the First World War.
    6. Here is a photograph of a Guardian master of the staff (T?rzsőrmester) of the army.
    7. Here is a photograph of a Platoon leader (Szakaszvezető) who belonged to a light motorized regiment.
    8. Here is a photo of a Ensignist (Z?szl?s) at the Hat?rvad?sz (border troops).
    9. Here is a coloured photo of the Hungarian Colonel-General vit?z Kisbarnaki Farkas Ferenc (1892 ? 1980) This photo is taken in 1944.
    10. I belive it was 1942-43.. The front at the river Don was held from fall of 1942 untill it fell the 13th of January of 1943. The Hungarian second army corps was scaterd and pushed back and did not recover fully after that Soviet breakthrough.
    11. Well, im not sure of what the differences are between the different flags and badges are. But i wold for sure post some new photos of the different ones that i have. I sold most of all my Hungarian socialist badges and medals but i kept all the photos of all items i had. Peter
    12. Here is an older version of the Szocialista Brig?d flagg. It has a wooden hanger.
    13. Here?s my new addition to my WW2 Hungarian collection. A really nice Hungarian Order of Merit - Grand Cross.
    14. Here's a piece of "Trench-art" made by Hungarian soldiers on the Don front. It's made from an aluminium coin into this ring. The front of the ring says "DON 1942". The Don riverbend was the piece were the Hungarian second army backed up the German eastern frontline between the summer of 1942 until the Soviet breakthrough in January of 1943.
    15. Here's my grandfather's officers ring from the Royal Hungarian Ludovika military academy. The year of graduation "1937" is engraved in the ring. It's made in gold with a silver front with the heraldic of the academy. My grand father wore this ring through the Second World War and his whole life even through the communist regime.
