Gentlemen, just some short words because my street style english is not good enough to tell what I want to tell - I don`t know enough bad words!!! all of you are working every day on saving history, restoring groups, collecting data and information - a worldwide military collecting network against the time in order to keep a long gone time living!!!! And then there are people like this........................ Some days ago I sold the medal bar and buttonhole mini of Zeug-Major a.D. Fuhr on ebay.de , that`s what it looked like some days ago in my house....

We have to seperate 2 things here..... 1. You have to use this phrase if you want to sell something on ebay germany and you are a private person and a private seller because of the EU-laws..... otherwise if you don`t use this term you MAYBE can get some problems if a buyer wants to return a bought thing - because a dealer has to offer a return policy on every item, not only for authenticy but also on other things like the right size, or you don`t like the colour or the toaster heats only up to 97 degrees and not to 100...... you are able to return everything when you buy it from a dealer - thats law.... on one side good but on the other not so good for a private seller that offers a old book he found in a box under a chair in the garage of his neighbors cat....if you know what I mean... Maybe he gets an Euro or two - he will have much more costs when it comes to a return problem than he made profit - so he uses this phrase and has not to return it, bought as seen, like it happens on a fleemarket..... BUT 2. That has (for me) nothing to do with the guarantee on the authenticy of a item - if you say it is original and it is not - you should take it back. That has for me nothing to do with the EU-laws........ If someone sells a badge, you can`t return it only because of you don`t like it ...................... BUT OF COURSE I would return it if it is a fake!!! or has a big damage that was not said in the auction description..... In my eyes two different cases....

if the dswa/olympia bar is good................................. it can`t be MEZ2........................... because the dswa is a steel medal behind the LS-awards .................if it is not MEZ2................it has to be EK2.................and then the ribbon for the Hindenburg is missing............... ???

??????hhhhhhhh........................... my best guess would be: Sachsen Friedrich August medals in silver and bronze on the wrong ribbons..................... have seen this some times over the years that yellow blue ribbons were taken for these medals on ribbon bars when the right ribbon was not in stock....

....of course - that was 35 years later But in my eyes this bar is more interesting than it looks like..... of course, he was a combattant in 1870 ( maybe a man from W?rttemberg....) and for that he got the 1897 medal too. But what did a man at the age of about 55 to get a DSWA-noncom-medal and nothing else??? Of course he was no long service soldier....and I don`t think he was a doctor..... so there are not many possibilities left.... 1. .....he got some civil orders over the years and the DSWA-medal is the only one that is still on the bar because the others have moved up to his neck.... or..............and that is even better 2. ....... he had some kind of business that was needed for this campaign in africa !!! Maybe he was ............... Hans Georg Oakley and he produced the worlds greatest sunglasses... Sometimes small bars are cool!!!

because of the needle system I would not say that it is a 1930s bar.... looks like the massive systems from around 1900.......... ............. but the ribbons look a bit too new for 1870 pieces, the backing looks like 1920 and again - the Mecklenburg cross doesn`t make me happy.... iron cross is too dark for good statements. my personal opinion....I would be careful
