HHHMMMMM - I think I have to forget the next medal bar purchase and take the money for a good scanner... great pictures!!! Here is something in miniature from me... Picture N?1 shows the bar again of which I am very shure that the AUOB clasp is a fake.... Picture N?2 shows the 100% original PEITANG-FORTS clasp of Oberst Kadelbach again...

Hi Daniel, the problem is that the only portrait of him wearing awards I have is from 1900 with oly the 1897 medal on his breast.... some weeks later he had the crown order 4.class with swords and then the china medal with the "Peitang-Forts" clasp - but I have no photo with awards later than this... the southwest medal here was an national thing, but not official. The other thing with the ribbon was a national thing, too, of the "Deutsche Kriegerbund". Normally on that thing with the ribbon belonged some crosses or medals from local vet organizations... for example: the ribbon/badge on top and then a cross "Kriegerverein Massachusetts 2006" so you had the combination of national and local. The southwest medal here does not belong to the other thing but what is our most said sentence 2005????? : "Everything is possible" not only in Weimar times.....

Hi all, can someone give me the complete list of ww1 awards and decorations of Oberst der Artillerie Martin Julius Gerhard Kadelbach? I know his pre-war awards but of ww1 I only know EK2, EK1, Hausorden Hohenzollern, Bayern MVO + crown and swords, Sachsen Albrechtorder 1.class - are there more??? thank you Heiko

the first time I saw this combination but I have no problems with it.... medal is some kind of rememberance medal and the other thing is from the main german vets organization "deutscher Krieger Bund" with the possibility to put the cross or medal from your local warriors club on it - as happened here. here is a mini EK2 with 18mm from J.H.Werner , a very high quality piece made of silver, fine details!!! I think Werner made some of the best awards, great EK`s and wonderfull turkish war medals (iron halfmoon) !!!! This mini one comes from a Oberst of the Artillerie. -

just some more info on the faked 70/71 battle clasps of this very special long version seen here.... very poor quality, all look exactly the same (any idea why... ) and many of them are seen by Nordwind.... here are two more examples of battle clasps (from him...). Look at the "signs of wearing" on the surface, exactly the same... Mount Valerien is a rare battle clasp but I have seen over 20 with exactly the same "used" surface.... that`s too much black magic for me

again I am the bad guy that sees the evil behind every corner I am no expert for the 1914 clasps but it doesn`t look good to me... the prongs on the reverse look very new... next point, the battle clasps of the 70/71 medal (unfortunately I am a little expert for battle clasps...) doesn`t look good as well - typical fake style of my special friend "Nordwind" from milweb..... complete bar looks very new, reverse also... I am not very happy with it, let`s hear the other gentlemen...

thank you for the new pics. Without having it in my hand I would say this is a original old piece. But maybe it is a private purchased clasp from a jeweller that normally is not making orders and clasps... It has not the typical styles - but I would say it is old and ok. As you can see in the following examples there can be some "designs" for the same battle clasp, let`s take your "DOA 05-07" - here are my pieces of that years... Heiko

Joe, of course it is a very beautiful TWM.... but for this price you will nearly get a cased Godet one!!! And this star was from Werner/Berlin, I have seen 5 or 6 from this maker in this quality during the last year, it is not too rare.... there are TWM`s with more rare makers out there. For me this price is really crazy!!! Heiko

what really is crazy about this is that the higbidder and winner had put 3 more bids with a higher value!!!!! I don`t want to imagine what could have been happened.....
