    1. Hi Mike There is some exposed tombac on the reverse on the very tips of the arms. Very little but enough to see the base metal. Rich
    2. Scott, I'm pleased it caught your eye. I think the simplicity of the edge gives it a cleaner look. Rich
    3. Thanks Rick! So far, at 21 views and looks like only me and Rick are enjoying this one. Rich
    4. As shown here with my BB&Co (top right) and '800' example, the Meybauer is much darker! Rich
    5. Not a silver model but clearly marked with the Meybauer crest and sporting the classic Meybauer style pin.
    6. Just like to present this Meybauer example that came my way. The enamel is quite dark compared to the others I have and the arms much more simple in design. Rich
    7. Guys, no progress yet. Weather is nice today so not spending much time in-doors. Yes, I believe this is the case that the plate is sewn into the tunic to provide support. Rich
    8. Guys, I have a dilemma... I seem to have run out of space in my 1914 EK1 display. It wasn't that long ago that everything fitted nicely. Now they seem to have spawned into a larger family so I'm going to have to re-jigg this part. I had to do the same with my 1939 EK1 section but that was easier as most are cased. I'm going to have to think carefully on the new layout. Hopefully tomorrow. Any suggestions will be considered. 2 pics coming...
    9. Eric/Mike Many thanks for taking the time to reply and offer your thoughts. I had a quick search for this "Boeshield T-9" and couldn't see any UK stockists but it does seem to be available on ebay. I'll check out the thread on it first though. Rich
    10. While unmarked, I assume this is a Meybaure from the pin shape. Could anyone confirm if I'm right or correct me if wrong. The only marking is silver '950'. Here's a few pics. There's a light application of ruct on the high-points. Any suggestions on how to neutralise it? Rich
    11. Paul, Incredible piece of history. I only hope you are given permission to provide more detailed photographs. Rich
    12. Paul Sorry I've nothing to contribute but could I see the underside? Thanks Rich
    13. Here's another I picked up recently. Extremely nice quality with what appears to be a felt backing as opposed to wool but I'd appreciate if someone could tell me what it actually was.
    14. Karsten That's a very fine example. Not much requirement to upgrade that beauty! Mine is also the Juncker/Deumer. Rich
    15. Thanks Micha! Sorry Joe. I have been having a good run lately!! Rich
    16. What Joe said! Those two are just jaw-droppingly gorgeous!! ME WANT ! Rich
    17. Folks, my latest addition. Very nice condition core no rust and no cracks.
